Macc to take on Toffees in cup draw

MACCLESFIELD Town Chairman Mike Rance said the town would be buzzing over Christmas following their plum tie against Premiership Everton.
“I am very pleased. It¹s a great draw for us and will keep the interest going up to and over Christmas. There should be a real buzz about the place and it’s bound to be a sell out. There must a good chance it will be a TV game and if so that will make a nice pay day for the club. It’s fantastic reward for Keith Alexander and his team who have put in two superb performances against Harlow and Port Vale and are moving into top form.”
Macclesfield manager Keith Alexander was delighted with the home draw against the Toffees. It’s a good draw for the fans who have been following us all season and we’ll get a full house.
